Add page numbers to a PDF
Add page numbers to a report, thesis, application or merged PDF. Choose the position and style, and skip the cover page if you like. The PDF is changed in your browser; it is not uploaded, and its text stays selectable.
How to use it
- Drop the PDF in the box.
- Choose where the number goes and how it looks: “1”, “Page 1”, “Page 1 of 9” or “1 / 9”.
- Tick No number on the first page if the first page is a cover. Numbering then starts on page 2 with the first number you chose.
- Click Add page numbers.
Tips
- Combining several files? Merge them first, then number the result so the numbers run straight through.
- Pages that are turned sideways are numbered so the number reads the right way up.
- Need the file under a size limit afterwards? Use PDF to a set size.
